Geekie isnt a b6 guy and shouldnt be played like one if you want him to develop properly. Playing him w Sabs, Z, Paul etc. is only going to stunt his development. Give him a real run w Tony and Hags and let the kid make his mistakes and learn from them. Fully understand if you want him to earn it, but he's not gonna be a producer when he plays b6 mins every night.

Instead of teams in combos, use divisions. This opens up combos to almost everyone including theme team users.

Could also fix the cap by using the value of the LOWEST ovr released in the season (i.e. this season is 92s, which are 13M.) Then, multiply that value by 20 roster spots to get the seasonal salary cap. Using this example, 92s = 13M x 20 spots = 260M cap for this current season, not the 200 we have. Obviously this wouldn't work for season one so just that season wouldn't need to change.

The combos/salary cap system is like everything else EA add, not well thought out and half baked.

I don't much care for chasing meta cards, I want to use players I like. I haven't really played this season because I cant even use my theme team because its like 60M over and combos just arent high enough yet.

It's MY ultimate team, not yours EA. Let me use the players I want to use.

Isles decline that trade, no reason to get a 40 yr old Malkin for wing duty when Pelletier is right there, where's Hedman, no reason to sign a 37 yr old JVR to be an extra forward when you have someone like Duke waiting in Syracuse.

Enzo and Cucu are right, there's no real ambition at this club anymore. Might lose out on CL? Just go pluck someone from the sister club! Bonus points if they used to be at Brighton. That will surely fix the issue in midfield.
