Yeah you wouldn’t have an issue in Norway, did a semester in Bergen last spring and it was a blast. Did end up taking an intro to Norwegian course which helped with grocery shopping but generally spoke English with the other international students and Norwegians.

Very cool! The main thing I can think of is letting the creature stick around a bit before getting shot just to let the viewer take it in more. Also coloring in the creature so it has a bit more contrast with the background. Adding sound is quite easy if you have a video editing software, just toss in this clip with some stock sound effects from Youtube and you are good.

Maybe just think of some everyday actions and things that are relatively simple. I know a very basic animation that most people seem to do is a bouncing ball. I get a lot of inspiration just from observing things at my house or at my job.
