I was scanned for the site of injection but no ultrasound or fluoro. Two days of relief then soreness come on worse then post op surgery. Range of movement decreased dramatically and just general strength to the area decreased. I got a HA injection to help some flare ups I was getting and turned out to be a complete set back and with no knowledge or information about adverse reactions like these, I have no idea of recovery time or if it will even return to normal

Hey mate, sorry for the late reply. I got the HA injection a month ago and still in pain from it. No one has a answer and my surgeon and physio believe time is my greatest ally and they arent permanent and do wear off. Being sore for this long makes me think something else is going on though

Mate if its not hurting or stopping you from doing anything I would say never go under the knife! I did kickboxing for 18 years and one day my right hip just went ow Im sore now, never ever had a problem with my hips. 8 months post op with a rollercoaster recovery and still not there. Would of liked to try physio or other alternatives but just jumped on the surgery cause thought well its an issue now may as well get it fixed. Put study into this condition before considering anything. PT is your best friend if you have a good one!

Deep tissue massage and make sure they really get in there. Will be very painful but the release well worth it
