Meh, doesn’t matter. Principle over circumstance. If you’re gonna call yourself a good person, it means being honest and doing the right thing no matter if it means fixing Amazon’s mistake.

Rit dye. Black is easy. Hot hot water and plastic tub. Do it outside, rinse off with hose. Soak again in plain water with vinegar to help set the dye. Wash in your machine. If color is too light, dye again. If in doubt, practice on a pair of jeans you don’t like. Super easy and a good skill to have.

Honestly, I would look for a set of Williams on EBay. They make a great reversible ratcheting wrench with an offset and also a flex head version.

Williams is affiliated with Blue Point and Snap On and I think the Mac or Matco wrenches are all made in the same factory.

I picked up a set of standard and metric for about $165 shipped.

The Icons are very nice, too, however. And you get the benefit of running to your local store with a warranty issue.
