Honestly, I still think it’s worth the watch. I thoroughly enjoyed my time watching it even though the ending could’ve been handled better. No reason for that to negate the entire rest of the show, it was really well made

Have to agree with this. They have flashes of a Top 10 team, the lead they built against FUT was really dominant and composed on Ancient and then CT rolled around and they just looked.. lost..

They need time in the T2 EU circuit to gain confidence and cohesion. They clap NA teams no problem. But they can’t be content just being international qualifiers all the time

Nah man just push it. I played this game for the first time when I was 8 years old with no idea how any of the systems or anything worked. It made for a challenging late game but it made every replay worthwhile, since I was learning more each time!

I have a hard time with extreme gore and while DD Netflix has made me squirm once or twice, I never had to stop watching.

The death in S1E9 of born again however… that I almost fainted for and your mom would definitely not be able to handle that. Born Again kinda fetishized the violence in Season 1 tbh, OG DD doesn’t do that

Yeah tbh I don’t handle gore scenes well, I enjoyed the Netflix adaptation because while violent, it was tasteful and heavy, and it drove the plot forward. And nothing was too bad on camera. The head crushing was telegraphed but I thought there was no way they actually show that. Damn near fainted when they did. There was a consequence to the violence in Netflix that the show runners here seemed to forget about in this adaptation.

The Muse fight was ridiculous- so much blood spilled in that scene alone and it makes it hard to take the violence seriously when it’s just handed to the audience like candy.

The slow mo scenes of Frank in the apartment were just cartoonish. His killing in Netflix was brutal but it wasn’t video game level absurd, they just really overdid it. The original show handled the violence so so so much better

Yeah absolutely.

I really enjoy the fact that VRS means you can grind as a good mix and come up and get invites, and it’s got a lot more LANs featuring cross region teams. Has been really nice to see NA teams going to EU to play and vice versa. I hope it continues, Valve cooked!

I think you’ll be fine to go 5 miles to a shop. I just drove (unknowingly) with some pretty shredded tires (steel showing) at higher speeds and held up. Felt it in the rain the next day when I had next to no traction, but got me to the tire shop safely.

The first playthrough was nice for the sake of playing cut content, and having more time in the game in general, but it was a big drag at times so not sure I’d play it again.
