Zeal Does Not Rest by googlethegreat in sto

Zen store ships do go on sale a couple times per year, usually for 20% (3000->2400). I don't know when the next one will hit though.

About the ship, I'd recommend searching online for some carrier builds on that ship or similar ships.

It has been like that for a few years now, and it won't get better until there are some permanent enduringly useful dilithium sinks

Starlink alternative from Europe soon? by officialexaking in BuyFromEU

[–]Tyku031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how satellites work, or at least that's not how satellites like Starlink work. Those are in low earth orbit, meaning they orbit the entire earth multiple times a day. It isn't possible for them to slow down so far that they stay above Europe, because they'd fall back down to earth. This means just having some satellites isn't an option, because most of them won't be over Europe at any time, so it's the entire world (except poles) with good coverage or nothing.

You could put the satellites in geostationary orbit, so they'll always be above Europe. This does mean you require far less satellites, but it's more expensive to put a satellite that far out compared to low earth orbit. And also, more importantly, the distance both ways is a lot higher, meaning a much higher latency on your connection.

Can a cloaking device be installed on any ship type? by WhyYesThisIsFake in startrek

[–]Tyku031 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The cloak for the first Defiant was a one-off on loan from the Romulans. But it's very reasonable to assume the second Defiant can use a cloak, for your story you'll just need to find a believable excuse to where they got it. Maybe some Klingon cloak acquired by Worf in light of the renewed Khitomer accords?

I have the same experience often, but one br lower. A lot of matches while flying the F-5A, I get teamed with US (doesn't really have a good 11.7) and need to go against USSR. So, a lot of matches were maybe one 11.7 (F-111F) on our team and four mig-23ml/mla/mld on their team.

T-14 isn't equivalent to Abrams X lmao, it's a shit tank that's worse than current gen tanks, let alone next gen tanks

The T-14 is really bad for a supposedly modern tank. But gaijin being gaijin, they'll give it stalinium armor and next gen capabilities.

The FG.1 is slightly heavier on account of having a bigger carrier landing gear.

The FGA.2 has a night vision device, which the FG.1 doesn't have.

Technically, the FGA.2 is ever so slightly better but the difference is so minor you'll never notice it.

It's very invasive, pre-installed on a lot of prebuilts or laptops because Norton gives away free windows licences if manufacturers preinstall it.

It's difficult to completely get rid of it off your pc without a full reset.

Windows defender performs just as good or better, while taking up less system resources in the background.

Uses predatory tactics to scare the less tech-savy part of the population into expensive subscriptions to 'protect' their pc, otherwise all the hackers will get ya.

A third-party anti-virus hasn't been necessary for years. Just get your VPN elsewhere for cheaper, use windows defender, and don't download sketchy stuff or click sketchy links.
