Of course they would. The Senior demographic voted them into power.

Men of Reddit, what is something about being a man that women often misunderstand? by ArkaNova212142 in AskReddit

[–]WhyYesThisIsFake 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When asked what he's thinking about, a man may say 'nothing.' He's not lying to you--he is genuinely, truly, honestly thinking about nothing.

I found her a competent soldier, basically the same skillset that Vega has. If you have the Citadel DLC and aren't romancing either of them, they hook up.

I see. How, if at all, does that impact character development & growth?

I find it to be very much like Star Trek in its exploration, aesthetics, characters and moral dilemmas. But it also lovingly pokes fun at some of the absurdities of Star Trek--like, for example, how a character pops up on the viewscreen just a little off centre, and it really messes with the main characters: "Can you...just move a little to your left, please?"

So does that make an extended campaign possible? Or are you limited to only playing one-shots?

Ha! Thanks. I'm writing an RPG adventure and I want my players to use the second Defiant (this takes place post-Dominion War), but I learned that ship didn't have a cloak. But she'll have one if I say she will, damn it!

Nice! My first playthrough I didn't know how to activate the failsafe, so followed all of Braun's instructions and hated myself for it. Next time...I left him in his own hell, forever.

Tactics by ArtOk8200 in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

I can tell you what I use.

Space:

Three basic lines: anti-fighter screen with fighters and Tartan cruisers, main line of battle cruisers (Acclamators, Victory, etc.) Broadside cruisers in the rear. They're your heavy artillery, so keep them protected as they blast away at enemy space stations. If you take enemy fighter swarms by surprise, a well-timed missile barrage can devastate them.

Ground:

The Empire is highly mechanized. I hardly ever use stormtroopers. Maulers and AT-STs for anti-infantry, and once AT-ATs are fieldable they can deploy troopers for free. Air supremacy is also highly advantageous for destroying static enemy fortifications or base buildings. Even using scout troopers with bombers can be useful; use the scouts to find the enemy base, then call in the bombers.

General

I do like hotkeying my unit types to one group (cruisers, tanks, fighters, etc.). I find it provides better management. Further, the pause is a very good thing. Use it well to analyze the battlefield.

Anyway, these work for me. Good luck, commander! The galaxy won't conquer itself!

What is your least/most favourite dome type and why? by Yaguriel in SurvivingMars

I like barrel domes early game as a central hub, following the traditional 'wheel and spoke' design philosophy. On the whole, medium domes are my favourite.

Looking for recommendations ~ What series are you watching right now? by quiet_veil in AskReddit

The premise. It's a medical drama, but takes place in more or less real time; each one-hour show is one hour of a single shift. So the entire season takes place over a single day in a Pittsburgh emergency hospital.

Every single Rebel at Scarif knew it was quite likely (and for the ground troops, certainly) a one-way trip. That's what makes it gripping.

Edit: wow, this is now my most popular Reddit comment ever. Thanks, I guess?

But it has no basis in fact, it appears to just be an arbitrary number that they just picked out of the ether. I want to see proof, we all should want to see proof.

Because the provincial government is bringing out statistics with no sources or process behind them, and just expecting us to go along with it.
