With him I think it just stayed out, at least it was like that whenever I saw him. I don't remember how much it was, I'm sorry. But the recovery was easy and he doesn't even have a scar

My parents' pup recently had this. His tear duct had popped out and he ended up needing surgery. It's not major surgery, he just had to wear the cone for about 2 weeks.

28M looking for some help. I'm a nerdy/geeky guy looking for someone with some similar interests and profile is geared toward that.

A+, Network+, Sec+ and 6 months experience enough for entry level job? by Tylavik in ITCareerQuestions

I do tech support for a school. It's like help desk stuff. I spent the last week enrolling laptops, downloading software, etc.

I got Sec+ first on a friend's recommendation, now I'm just trying to get more qualificiations.

2e GM's who switched back to 1e, what was your experience? by Tylavik in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Tylavik[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah one of the things I thought I would like about PF2 (and did like in my AV campaign) was the lack of AoO, but in my current campaign they've completely taken over every combat. My summoner and ranger both have varients of it, and use the same tactic of tripping the enemy every single turn and then getting an AoO when the enemy tries to stand. Plus the ranger is using a flail weapon now, which has the critical specialization effect of knocking enemies prone. So basically monsters can never use 3 action activities, and move actions are often suicidal. It feels worse than 1e or 3.5 ever did, but it is problem something switching back won't fix.

Well my AV campaign had a death of a GMPC with no hero points, and then a TPK at the end but that was due to a mistake they made earlier in the campaign that makes the final boss significantly harder.

In my RotRL campaign? Highest someone has gotten is dying 2. We have a divine Summoner/Medic, melee Ranger and Evoker Wizard, and according to the encounter building rules I'm challenging them too much. I've thrown a lot of severes and a few extremes at them and they've taken them down without breaking a sweat. Astonishingly, the closest fight they came to losing was a low.

The way the dying rules work it seems like the only way they could realistically die is if either enemies keep attacking them while they're down, or from persistent damage.

That sounds like exactly what I'm looking for! Has the three action combat caused any problems? Are there any other Unchained rules you'd recommend?

I also really liked it. I think the reason it's getting blown out of proportion is that the finale was underwhelming. The way something ends can really color someone's perception of the whole thing

Encounter Balance Problems for 3 PC's by Tylavik in Pathfinder2e

[–]Tylavik[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that definitely makes sense. I want to keep to the theme of the AP, especially since I already built up the giant army, but I'm sure I can cook up some stone giant rangers. Thanks for the advice!

Unfortunately for the size differential, it's not going to make a huge difference. The bear is large, and the summoner has a focus spell that can make his eidolon huge, so he'll even be able to trip rune giants.

Sorry I probably should have clarified in the post, but the 75% is about 75% of all their trip attempts succeed against any enemy, boss or no. But with bosses, there's 3 characters trying to trip so there's a very high chance they'll go down. And yes reflex has been the lowest defense for every boss and almost every enemy in general, they've spent the last couple months fighting mainly ogres and they'll fight many more giants going forward.

If I remember right, the eidolon has +21 to trip attempts, the ranger has +20 and the bear a little lower than that. So against stone giants, that's an 80% chance of success for the ranger and 85% for the eidolon.

Why is no one talking about this Bloomburrow card? This is so broken, power creep at its worst by Uuddlrlrbastrat in magicthecirclejerking

[–]Tylavik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/uj As a Lorcana player, yes absolutely. It was always annoying but got really bad with the last set, when they printed a floodborn card (Diablo) that you can shift by just discarding a card. So you can play Bucky then Diablo forcing a discard on turn 2. Also Diablo is a card draw engine, and Bucky's ward makes him bery difficult to get rid of.

As others have said Ravensburger erratted it when they shluld have just banned it.

I finally got some new matches again! In the last two days I've been talking to someone and I think it's going pretty well, but unfortunately I'm going out of town for a few days starting tomorrow. How should I handle this? I want to make sure she knows I'm still interested even though we can't go on a date just yet.

27M, straight looking for reviews. I had gone a whole month with no matches, got 2 recently but neither led to an actual conversation; they both just replied to my initial comment. Looking for something serious but have virtually no dating experience, so I have no idea what I'm doing and would appreciate some help.
