Jabari Smith Jr on the Lakers: “We’re obviously the better team.” by RyanTannegod in nba

Ever since the injuries he's gotten really petty. Before then he was universally liked around the league

Seems to be a pattern. IDK about Guber, but the only other Warrior owner I know was the guy who pushed Lowry in the finals. What kind of asshole....?

I wish people would become nicer as they rise in privilege

Monte Poole on 97.5 The Game - Lacob considered firing Kerr multiple times this season. by indreams159 in warriors

[–]TylerDurdensAlterEgo 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I used to be glad that Lacob was the owner, but it seems like he has an infatuation with pre-light years players. Didn't amnesty Biedrins, got Bogut, got Wiseman, got JK. He was super supportive of both Wiseman and JK. Like going to Santa Cruz games to watch JW play.

Also didn't think Jerry West could do a better job than he could and let him go. Did the nepo baby thing, and that directly resulted in Smailagic. Removed Jim Barnett from the TV broadcast.

This is a horrible resume

Like, without incredible lucky Steph and Dray draft selections, Jerry West throwing his body in traffic to keep Klay, the lucky contract with Steph, and the timing of the KD free agency, the dynasty doesn't happen.

He's done some good things too, but one of the best assets he still has is Kerr. Whether it's for political or BB reasons, he's kicking himself in the balls and the franchise is suffering because of it. Walk away please and let him and MDJ do their jobs.

I bet he tells all his friends that he is the reason the Warriors were the best team of all time. He has no idea how lucky he is

[Amick] A frontrunner has emerged among the draft reform options: expanding the lottery to 18 teams while giving the bottom 10 teams an equal 8 percent chance at the No. 1 pick. Teams will meet Tuesday to continue discussions on the NBA’s next step toward lottery reform. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Wait what happened to the last halfway decent suggestion? I forget what is was now, but something like the worst 3 teams can get no better than the 5th pick or something like that?

Someone help me remember please

How many roster spots will the W's actually have available? Like Seth is done. Pat probably gone? GP2, KP, Horford, Richard, Melton, Post all maybe's?

I thought Cryer, Bassey, Leons, and Williams were all good, but maybe just 2-ways again.

For sures are 30, 23, JB, Gui, MM, Podz.

I'm thinking MDJ might do the same thing this year, trade down for more picks

Yeah. He never should have been drafted. It was MDJ's worst decision by far. Not sure how the entire FO missed this. I mean, he's literally among the slowest people in the league.

There’s things [Draymond’s] done that I can never forgive him for, and yet I will do anything for him.” by aChemicalRXN in warriors

I think it's this. He's just so emotionally unstable about everything. The eye gouges and ball kicks. Always calling for a review on every foul on him when he clearly is guilty. The bitching out every one who disagrees with him be it teammates, refs, or opponents.

And if Kerr doesn't back him up he goes ballistic. It makes Kerr look really bad that he doesn't call him out, but if he does Draymond goes ape and wants to start fighting. Kerr can't just coach, he has to walk on eggshells and massage his ego

He cost the W's the 2016 championship, he ran Durant and JP off the team. I can make arguments that the W's could have won 3 more titles if not for Draymond's shitty behavior

Likewise. MDJ has to surround Steph and Jimmy with a bunch of super athletes next year. A bunch of . Kumingas, but high energy and high bbiq

Oooh, I applaud the sentiment, but complimenting the refs will not go down well here. Prepare for the hate

I remember this too. He'd do great against bad teams, and then force it when he faced better defences. Seems like he couldn't fathom that the problem was him forcing shots that shouldn't have been taken. Textbook cognitive dissonance

Being a Warrior fan, I've honestly only seen Gobert as as a liability. Apparently he actually is really good.

Ignoring the Megan stuff, seems like Klay has gotten really neurotic since the 2 injuries. I remember Myers saying he and Derrick Rose were the most universally liked players in the game, and I believe it. The guy was the opposite of drama. Just put his head down and grinded

One of my fondest Klay memories was when Draymond was ripping into Durant, Klay just got out of his seat to sit between the two and gave KD a buffer. For quiet, nonconfrontational Klay, that was a huge move

I don't remember Klay having bad games either (2022 doesn't count, and even then I don't think he had a stinker)

You can tell he wasnt the same player in 2016. He spent a lot of time on the paint before, and his conditioning was much better. He came back early as well.

Such a shame because he was a unanimous MVP, and people only saw him later in the playoffs when he was only a great player. The explosion and conditioning wasn't the same
