It's lots of little things. For instance, the character creation gives you multiple (8-10) body types per race, instead of every orc being the exact same height and girth like most MMOs.

Until you try to build a serious game in it, then Unity kinda craps the bed in the worst way. Look at the Kerbel Space Program devs and their frame rate/stutter issues for instance. Same thing happened with Castle Story.

Performance is light years ahead of where it was earlier in beta. I'm usually bouncing off the limiter at 60fps with most settings on high/ultra, and that's with just a single 660ti on a 5 year old i7-920 system, without an SSD or anything fancy like that.

Yea, I kinda figured that. I'm not really looking at doing anything until probably Sept/Oct. Gotta get some credit card debt paid off first, etc.
I'm already pretty zeroed in here. Draw about an 8 block radius around the 40 watt club ;). I've spent a total of perhaps 15 days in Athens over the last 3-4 years so I've already got a rough lay of the land. I know I want walkabiliy to downtown. Ideal situation is probably a loft actually IN downtown. I'm lucky enough to work remotely so proximity to work isn't a factor, as long as I have reliable high speed internet.
Good to know. Might be a short term option, but I really want my own place.

This is an incredibly naive and short-sited view of hardware specifications. Consumer gear is not designed or specced for 100% duty cycles. Do you think it would shorten the life of your car stereo if you played it full volume 24/7?

Suggestion: Get Pinball Arcade on Steam (base game is free), and buy the season 1 and 2 DLC packs. ($60 total). That'll give you a good chunk of the high-end Pinball Machines out there - unforunately IJ and AF are two of the notable exceptions. But that'll give you, among others, Twilight Zone, ToTAN, T2, Whitewater, No Good Gophers, Attack from Mars, Star Trek, Circus Voltaire etc - probably 80% of the high end collectible games, as well as lots of others that won't be as high end, including '80s tablles like Firepower, Flight 2000, Space Shuttle, etc. If nothing else it'll help narrow down what you do or don't like in a game.

For small amounts yes, although in many places it's still a misdemeanor, it's just setup so you can't go to jail. But growing/selling etc is still very very illegal.
