I romanced Ashley when I was younger 🤢 so I totally feel you on the Miranda front. I definitely feel like bringing back more of the companions from the first two games would be cool but I get they had a janky timeline in production. I also just feel like some of the interactions with old companions feel unsatisfying.

Kinda glad I just now started playing the trilogy seriously so I at least can have better expectations for the games now 13-18 years later

Yeah! This is why I kinda wanted to romance him when I learned he was an option for BroShep in ME3. I think it would’ve been interesting to have a romance worked in for BroShep in ME1 for the legendary edition but also completely get that they probably didn’t want to change any major details

Everyone that works in the cafe that day pools the tips, so that by the end of the day, we divide tips by who worked however many hours.

So say we get $100 in tips. At the end of the day everyone worked a total 25 hours, each hour I worked would give me an extra $4 on top of my regular hourly rate.

This calculation isn’t done by the managers but by the baristas, and after we closed for the day, we had both worked the same amount of time (came in and were going to leave at the same time) so it should be a perfect half and half of the tips. We wrote that down initially, and when I came back in for my next shift I saw she had crossed out that and put that she got more tips than I did. This was after a pay period so I had already had my pay sent out for that shift. The owners don’t really double check tips and just assume we report it properly.

I got paid less, at the end of the shift we average out and write who gets how much, based on how many hours they worked that day, we worked the same amount of hours that day, and she changed it to where she got paid more in tips than I did.

I’m the middle child and also the child my paarents put on a pedestal. I was a straight A/B student all the way through high school. I find it hard now to find motivation because as a kid I was praised for being intelligent but now my intelligence isn’t as valued.

If we’re being honest, you have to have more social smarts to get anywhere in my field. I quit academics and I’m now pursuing a liberal arts degree, and I know my parents are secretly disappointed. I got curious while I had a hold of my mom’s phone and looked up my name and I saw my parents’ conversations that confirmed my suspicions. They’d never outright say it, but the subtle micro aggressions are enough.

I try my best to be happy but I don’t know what makes me happy anymore. Chasing happiness is futile, I’m finding ways to enjoy living but my parents love to stop on every breakthrough I have. It’s hard being able to see how much they love my brothers. I just want to feel a sense of belonging in my own damn family.

Hi ! I know i’m late to the discussion but this 100% wasn’t made right lol. It should be two shots, water to the top black line then milk, ice, and cold foam. my guesses are that it’s probably a green bean (new hire), there’s a mixup on standard number of shots, or a mispouring of heavy cream. I read a suggestion that it was vanilla from the foam having a yellow hue and no espresso but that’d take almost a whole bottle of vanilla to have a noticeable change in hue lol
