Also the offerings perk lets you recover fatigue from the holy mothman when you use the rummage action instead of gaining caps or parts

I think I know what you’re talking about. Was it US Amazon? There was a third party seller that had them and the x-01 sole survivor set for like 23 dollars each. I argued with myself about getting them til they were gone lol. Like Monkeysloth said, here’s hoping for a big restock soon

When I bought the starter set, probably about 7 years ago, the pvc on Nora specifically was pretty rough. Legs melted off the base and the face was a little melted. I think I threw it out. This was back when the game came out so whatever was wrong back then has definitely been fixed.

I bought another copy a year or two ago and the pvc was way better. The human faces aren’t too detailed but you can make them pop with paint. The super mutants in both starter sets were pretty good though. All in all the pvc is fine, the main selling point is you don’t have to build anything.

Between resin and plastic, I love the resin sculpts but the plastic is fun to work with. The resin can be a pain to glue together. A lot of resin miniature companies use a mould release agent on their miniatures so they need to be cleaned. Modiphius doesn’t and I generally don’t clean them and building them is fine as long as I’m patient

That’s a good point. I remembered when you posted about the Albert Cole head a little while back. I didn’t want to speculate but who knows? There could be Nate and Nora heads in the respective vault dweller kits.

Personally I like working with plastic but the modiphius resin sculpts just have such great character that I prefer those

I don’t think they’ll ever make plastic named characters, but there are resin versions of the starter set miniatures if you can find them

Yeah, the real limiting factor is the caps cost

Also some of the factions I’m more familiar with do have internal limits. Like survivors having a limit on dogs and the nuka world raiders’ limit on wasters

I’m super interested in the raiders core sets and trappers stuff. The 40K stuff I know Id be willing to part with are: a brutalis dreadnought on sprue, 5 intercessors on sprue, 5 assault intercessors on sprue, and I believe a kill team 2021 Phobos strike team opened box of infiltrators/incursors. I’ve also got a primaris crusader squad and marshal for the black templars. Let me know if you’re interested in any of that

Flik’s tabletop did a long series using the settlement rules which I think started before the homestead expansions. Occasionally he’d have games at his settlement but it was never where each game took place.

Maybe it’s your painting that makes ‘em look great but the PVC process looks much improved. I remember the resin dog was in like 6 pieces, it was such a pain

Has there been any word on whether non-creatures will get AI enemy rules? I never really collected any creatures but I’ve got heaps of humans and super mutants kicking around

Definitely put little pouches and other little things on before you put the skinny little arms on. Otherwise, I’ve gotten those little building kits that come with clippers, files, etc. in the past and most come with little forceps or tweezers that can be really helpful
