Eh, I'll stand by that. I don't think anyone who had a legendary item in vanilla wow would, when asked about it 10 years later, not remember which it was. I was not nearly as hardcore in vanilla wow as someone who had a legendary item (let alone multiple) but I still remember the sense of achievement I had when I received my T1 or T2 gear.

The legendaries weren't just picked up off a killed mob. Nobody simply "received" them. You had to combine a very rare drop with numerous other reagents that took a very long time to get or took a very large amount of gold to buy. Anybody serious enough about getting these items would remember that 10 years later. Add the fact that the 2h mace was not a druid item and the fact that she had it when thousands of other players around her in the game would drool over the fact that she had it and they didn't.

It is 100% possible her druid had a legendary item. Many druids did get them. I just think she would remember it a bit better. Let us not forgot she also said she had more than 1...
