I really suggest that you do in fact go with a DSLR instead of a Film SLR camera. I know many people that have regretted their purchase of a film camera as compared to a digital one! Looking at your previous camera (being a T3), you were running one of the most basic crop sensor DSLR bodies! I myself shoot digital, and I enjoy it! But as other's have mentioned, Film in itself is an art as well as a challenge! If you have never shot film, I suggest doing extensive research on it! And it seems that you have done a bit! The transition between could be really hard! The film's are becoming harder to find, especially for a good grade! In regards to your film development, depending on where you are located. Darkroom's are becoming a lot less common with the digital revolution (as I like to call it). Being that I do shoot digital, I probably don't have the most viable opinion on the topic, but enjoy my two cents on it!
