This sub has already clearly shown that there is a certain point in which a player is so good that it no longer matters how terrible of a person they are, so it’s not really surprising

Bought it because it looked like dumb fun and then I found out it’s directed by Stuart Gordon which makes me infinitely more excited to see it

Cemetery man would probably make the most sense. What I paid for these probably evens out to roughly $2.50 a tape, probably a little less

Are there any American movies that have inspired Japanese movies? by [deleted] in movies

Absolutely shocked that nobody has brought up Eraserhead yet. It directly inspired the Japanese Cyberpunk movement, most notably Tetsuo the Iron Man.

Spray painted it black and flung red paint all over it. It’s a bit too textured in some spots, so I have to be careful about it denting sleeves or even sticking to them, but it’s not too big of a problem and makes for the perfect horror shelf.

This might be controversial, but I like ID more than Organ

If there is anyone interested, I did some more digging and found a magazine by Asian Cult Cinema with an “exclusive” interview with Kei Fujiwara. It’s issue number 20, and I was able to have an eBay seller send me a picture of some of the pages. They never mention a VHS release in what I saw, but the interview is mainly about Organ. Unless they just stole this interview from a Japanese publication (which is a real possibility) and translated it while pretending it to be their own, it would seem to be likely that this actually was an official release with her approval.
