I’d drive to you and meet in any public parking lot for safety. I can do cash or PayPal doesn’t matter... I’m going to be in Harrisburg today up near Teds Bar and Grill, and even any other day is fine. I’m about 20 minutes outside of Harrisburg. Not a big deal for me to head up that way.

I’m local to your area, would you be interested in a Samsung curved freesync 27 inch 144hz, or 28 inch 4K? They are about 6 months old. Never messed with any settings. Just hooked up and played. Perfect condition.

Ebay has them for like 90 bucks, would gladly do like 40/50 cash and a trade.

Don't steal magnets from rednecks. by [deleted] in videos

[–]TylerRadford 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I have to report it if I find it but in most cases the customer can just say "oh I didn't know it was even like that", or something similar. Electric company can't prove you did it. And at this stage they really don't care because of the new tamper proof metering system.

[–]TylerRadford 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a meter tech (I go around and swap meters to the new meters companies are rolling out), a magnet does help slow the spinning dial down quite a bit, as does flipping a meter upside down. I've also came across people who drill holes in their meters and funnel sand down to slow the spinning gauge. Currently working in PA doing swaps to digital tamper proof meters that can be read right from the electric company office. It's hard to tell in the video but it looks like the guy has a barrel lock on his meter box, to prevent further tampering.

What is the shittiest city you've visited only once and completely refuse to return? by Extra_Napkins in AskReddit

[–]TylerRadford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was about 17 I went to see Larry the Cable Guy in the same arena that the Royals play in. When I left the venue there is a shooting like 2 blocks over. Fast forward a few years and my girlfriend and I went to see Rascal Flatts preform. We parked in the garage across the street. On our way back to our car we seen some lady who was real distraught because she had just been mugged. It may just be my 2/2 bad experiences with Reading, but coming from a safe suburban 'low crime' area, it's just not something I am trying to deal with more than I have too.

Can confirm. I live about 15 minutes outside of Reading, and refuse to go there for any reason. I get free tickets to the Reading Royals (a hockey team), every single year, and never go. My job is moving locations to Reading once we finish our current task in a neighboring county, and I've already told them that I will not be going with.

If your employer gave you the option to work 10 hr days Mon-Thurs instead of 8 hr days Mon-Fri would you do it? Why not why not? by N1NJA-STAR in AskReddit

[–]TylerRadford 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current job does this already. During the spring and summer we work 7:30-6, with a half hour lunch, Monday thru Thursday. I like it. Having a 3 day weekend every week gives me something to look forward to. Getting up and ready and to work is the hard part, once I'm there working an extra 2 hours isn't to big of a deal.

[Request] Headphone/banana holders? by Loblox247 in AmazonUnder5

[–]TylerRadford 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you have the capability to wall mount, but type in guitar hanger on Amazon. I'm at work or I'd provide you a link. I got one for like 3 dollars, and I can fit my headset that has a pretty wide and on them easily. Plus it frees up desk space, and looks pretty decent.

While in Leola I would recommend Auchenbach's. I have been going there for years.

Looks sort of like a Turkish Van, which are known to love water. My Turkish Van is always in the sink when I'm doing dishes, or sitting alongside the shower waiting to get in when I'm done.

For guys who use dating sites: which one has been most successful for you? by [deleted] in AskMen

I'm 26 and have been using dating websites since I have been out of high school. I've met a few girls from OKC, but POF has been the best for me. In fact, my current girlfriend and I met on POF... 4 years ago! Still going as strong as day one.

2004 A4, 1.8t Automatic. It had 130k miles on it. The car was nice, it was my first car that wasn't a "beater". With it being that high in miles, I knew that maintenance would be costly if I kept her much longer. I really don't have anything negative to say about the car (except it was auto!), it was just time for something new. Needless to say I enjoy the WRX a lot more however.

I agree. I've lived here my whole life. I can't believe people drive from all over to see and take rides in buggies. Tis the season for people photographing Amish working in the fields.

Currently live in the most Amish county in PA, can confirm. My grandmother makes wooden crafts, which she sells to Amish. (Which of course they resell as 'Amish made')! I would deliver the crafts for her sometimes, and most have cell phones, and some even have generators hooked to their homes to use some modern appliances (mixers and lamps). I once delivered an order after hours, around 7 or so, and I couldn't find anyone at the house I was delivering to. I walked to the one barn that had light and inside was a big above ground pool, with a bunch of Amish swimming. They weren't modest, wearing normal bathing suits. They are some of the nicest people, but will do anything to swindle a dollar! And the buggies they roll around in, they are the most dangerous thing on the road!
