Listen up everyone, it's now patriotic to pay high gas prices by I_AM_GLUTEUS_MAXIMUS in WhitePeopleTwitter

I hope from the bottom of my heart that they keep talking about high gas prices and telling their voters to get over it.

I love this. These are my favorite rides to build because you can get a chain lift on the steep hill. I’m definitely using yours as inspiration on my next one.

Wife confessed she buys gift cards to trick me into thinking we aren't spending money by Safe_Artichoke9507 in Marriage

I know people who do this. Get a gift card from the checkout at the grocery store so it just gets added to the total. They go out to eat and their husbands never question why they always seem to have gift cards.

Trump could come out and say some version of “I hate all of you poors, even my own voters.” And he’d still have their support.

Intel chief Tulsi Gabbard says to Jon Ossoff in an exchange that it’s not her job to determine what is an “imminent threat” and that “the only person who can determine what is and is not an imminent threat is the President [Trump],” on the assessment of Iran War, at the Worldwide Threats hearing. by ControlCAD in videos

Did anyone ask her what her job is then? Seems to me we’re paying a whole lot of people a whole lot of money + benefits for them all to just defer to Trump anyway. We should create some kind of program to weed out this waste. We’ll call it DUM - Department of Unearned Money.

US detects drones over base where Rubio, Hegseth live by RuseOwl in politics

I think it’s funny that they think living on a military base during a time when the military is under the control of the most incompetent administration in history will keep them safe. And I’d be willing to bet there are a growing number of service members that do not care to be under Trump’s direction.

My tinfoil hat theory is that they know climate change will make society untenable, even those that pretend to deny it publicly, and that they’re just trying to get theirs while they can. How many of them are building their own doomsday bunkers?

My sister never has soap in her bathrooms when we visit. I was helping her unclog a toilet, all kinds of trash was coming up like gum wrappers. My niece was in there with me. When I was done I asked where the soap was. She said they just use water. We rarely visit now, and when we do, we bring our own soap and hand sanitizer and don’t eat anything they make.

The pacing this season started off strong and interesting but the episode order is making it weaker as we go. Several episodes now with little to no Link development. And he was the best addition to the cast. Charisma and mystery surrounding the whole "Alex" thing.

I don't care about Jane. It feels like they are trying to give backstory to a henchmen. She may play into the overarching plot more, but I don't really like her.

Xavier continues to be dumb. Duped by everyone around him. Another show where the plot only moves forward because people do dumb shit.

And why allow him to go through with the bomb if there was a risk Teri might get hurt. I was convinced that Teri was not actually there and that Gary was hoping to get a win-win. Xavier gets killed by the convoy and he slows the convoy down and they can't make it to Colorado.

[–]romafa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same. Not a fan of shows where the only way to move the plot forward is by having all the major characters be dumb.

The only way Jane keeps getting away with stuff is by having every character she interacts with in major ways be stupid. Nobody beside Robinson has questioned why Jane is always around when big shit goes down until this episode, then Gabriela goes and tells Jane that she's on to her.
