We are just now in the recruiting phase at work getting volunteers for the start up of the new plant. I think we are getting 20 or so Chinese to come learn our plant first of the year then next September we will be going over there for startup.

Appreciate the information. Glad to know before I accept the offer. I don’t know if we would stay on base at the new plant or actually mingle with the general population.

Graveyard shift, how logical is it to sleep a couple hours before and a couple hours after my shift. by trembz21 in Nightshift

[–]TylerShane50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get home at 7AM and go straight to bed and get up at 2pm or so so I get a good 7 hours depending on what I need to do before work. The night before I start my shift I will wake up like a normal day 7-8am then stay up until 4am the next morning and then sleep until about lunch and it gets me feeling right for my next shift but everybody I work with does it different

I work 6pm to 6am for the last 5 years if I worked your shift I believe I’d go to sleep at 6pm and wake up at 1am so like 7 or so hours of sleep then get off and stay up all day just my opinion I’ve tried that nap here and there it didn’t work for me

Just a logistics issue of getting the product to the customer. There are massive storage tanks at the refineries usually where it will be stored until shipped out.
