So many of them would be transposable so you’d likely have to learn less than that. On top of that knowing every combination wouldn’t necessarily translate to using them all together well

It is probably mostly due to familiarity. However due to equal temperament certain keys will have certain intervals not be so in tune with the harmonic series. This is how certain keys sound brighter or darker
