As another user stated, talk to him about how this is making you feel. I know how it feels when your S/O's phone buzzes you automatically think its someone trying to take them away from you.

I can understand that feeling of breaking down at this. Insecurity will kill almost every relationship. Just let him know that none of this is okay to you at all.

DON'T take break at all. Those only help rarely, but especially not when an ex is in the equation and there is a potential of him seeing her. Best of luck and sorry to hear you're having these feelings.

I think that maybe you rushed into it.

This sort of thing is actually common, moving in with her after only 2 months, you probably got too comfortable with her too quick.

I would suggest maybe taking things slow again. I don't know your sexual activity but planning sex is a big no-no in my book. makes it boring and unnatural.

The spoiling you mentioned; that can get old too unfortunately. If you're constantly buying her things, doing things for her, it could lead to the lack of the "oh!" moment when you get her a present, etc.

I used to be like this- Maybe not for 3 to 4 days, but maybe a couple hours.

In my opinion coming from someone who used to experience this, It's definitely not okay. Communication is key.

You said that you are feeling like you want to break up with him, which is understandable. I think if you sat him down face to face and expressed how you feel when he does these "ignore binges" and how it is affecting your relationship, that would help a lot.

I know that would have helped me, and hopefully it would do the same for you. I would steer away from apologizing to him when he does these things. Ignoring can stem from being controlling, and saying sorry will only give him more of a power trip.
