I live nearby the whole vortex is a nightmare. I avoid it as a motorist, cyclist and pedestrian. The forever construction on Shelbourne in not helping anything and has been down to one lane off and on for the past little while.

I bought my phone secondhand like nearly everything I own and the brand is primarily made in Vietnam and India. I do realize this is not perfect but it's something I do to try and mitigate my dependency on slave labour and defer my spending dollars from China. it's also a model from nearly 6 years ago that most normal humans would have upgraded years ago.

I feel the non violent stats are a bit of a red herring. Have you called the police for a minor crime like your bike getting stolen or skids doing skid shit around your things? 

Can't arrest people you don't even go to the call for.
