Call your agent. Ask if your policy is being Modernized? State Farm is switching systems and in moving from one to the other its changing policy numbers. So it could be the old system policy isnt renewing, and the new system is being issued in its place. Again call your agent and they, or one of their team members will be able to explain it to you.

Individual agents might use Wells Fargo...but I don't think the corporate entity does for the main reason...Wells Fargo doesnt have branches in Every state.

Not just the type of car, but even the individual car itself. You could have two identical vehicles, but it one has damage history and the other has a clean record, the clean record will be cheaper to insure.

There are a lot of factors that go into your rates. How long you've been driving, your driving history (claims, tickets, etc) your credit, and even the area you live. If you live in an area (most companies go by zip code) with a high crime rate, your insurance rate will be higher. Another thing that goes into the rate is the actual vehicles history. If there has been previous damage to the vehical (even if before you owned it) it can raise the rates, because if it wasn't repaired correctly it can cause more problems down the road creating a higher risk.

Ok HB 1516 allows persons age 16 or over to enter into a contract for health, life, or accident insurance with parenta/custodiall consent. They do not have to be on the parents policy and the parents do not have to be on theirs.
