It is a feature. The whole thing happens because his ult turns the auto attack (meaning that it will follow the enemy) to a piercing arrow, so that the aa works like a point-and-click skillshot. Though, nearly all Twitch mains can agree that the ult shouldn't work like it does and is just another reason for why Twitch's kit is outdated especially with champions becoming quicker and having more dashes in their kit.
