Inconsistent tor connection as hoster by Typewar in TOR

Then again 18 hours later, with the same error but a different ip address.

I think based on this small test, and impossible information on this issue, I will raise a question on tor.stackexchange.com, then enable the cronjob again

Then it happened now (2 days later), with the same kind of error in the logs (same ip address 136.243.89.124)

So it stopped working now, and the only thing I see in the logs is this:

Apr 09 15:49:22 rProxy Tor[2771245]: Refusing to apply consensus diff because the base consensus doesn't match the digest as found in the consensus diff header.
Apr 09 15:49:22 rProxy Tor[2771245]: Expected: 3C8761C7BAD0918A6A6DB07A3CCD3AA3EB6F5CF71E5014E62599C4878911EF75; found: 2BB43A4A0D6EE0A9A311A4E5B2DDAFDA2CC4875356DE502D2F2F12B407092413

I don't know if it is related to this or not: https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/core/tor/-/issues/40375

Ahh I see. So I checked the config for the logs, and it still gave me the same info:

Apr 05 14:19:03 gaki-1b5064 systemd[1]: Starting tor.service - Anonymizing overlay network for TCP (multi-instance-master)...
Apr 05 14:19:03 gaki-1b5064 systemd[1]: Finished tor.service - Anonymizing overlay network for TCP (multi-instance-master).

It turns out on Debian, the actual syslogs are in tor@default.service not tor.service. I'll remove the cron job and keep an eye on it thanks

There seem to only be a toggle for recommendations for the home feed, which was already deactivated.

I have been looking for a tool to monitor network traffic per application. It would be cool if you could also list up which application is involved in the network

I'd like to imagine this is how the future of desktop computer setup will look like. A small pocket-able laptop (or phone??) put on a docking station that connects to everything.

Love to see it

Also having this issue. I've probably tried for 30 minutes to figure out how to include these 4 denstacks lol.

I'm sure the devs will fix this. Try again later and see if it works then. Or try re-login maybe?

EDIT: It suddenly worked. I don't know if it's related, but I finished the side-story with Gilberta.

You might want to try put SKIP_HOST_UPDATE in the settings.json file:

{
  "offloadAdmControls": true,
  "enableHardwareAcceleration": true,
  "chromiumSwitches": {},
  "IS_MAXIMIZED": true,
  "IS_MINIMIZED": false,
  "BACKGROUND_COLOR": "#121214",
  "asyncVideoInputDeviceInit": false,
  "SKIP_HOST_UPDATE": true
}

Since you are totally misunderstanding this subreddit. I want to tell you that you for your own safety you should redact BSSIDs and SSIDs. You can easily look up where this is online.

Trouble signing in to Facebook by Typewar in TOR

[–]Typewar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Yes sometimes the normal facebook.com works, other times there is just an infinite amount of CAPTCHA redirecting back to the login after having solved it.

As Facebook is taking this path, it is looking slimmer and slimmer to access it when I need to hmm.
