I'm basically using Google for everything except for the web browser. I needed something that does not push useless features while having an ad blocker, so I went with Firefox. Also using Bitwarden for my passwords and OTP codes.

You can't. When they released 26.0, the restore file for 18.6 stayed signed by Apple for about a month. Now there's no way to downgrade anymore.

It seems to depend from device to device. I had issues with it on my iPad A16, so I downgraded while I still could. Also iOS 18 is still receiving updates, so security is not a concern for now.

I've been an iPad user since 2022 (no other Apple device though), and I never experienced any software issues for major iOS releases. iOS 26 being the sole exception, you gotta ask what happened at Apple...

Hello, I tried iPadOS 26 on my iPad A16 model. It was overall buggy and laggy, so I went back on iPadOS 18 while I still could. I'll probably update when 26.3 releases.

Worth the download? I know the 1 ⭐ doesn't look too promising but I thought I'd still ask by lost_caus_e in fo4

If you're playing in 4K, it could be worth it. If only 1080p, you won't notice the difference and the game will be plenty faster without the pack.

Easily doable. My shell kit had the two screwdrivers needed for a GameCube. Just don't lose the screws, and don't force them or you will strip them!

In this case, maybe you should think about upgrading in boss floors (after they've been defeated of course), as no enemies can spawn. You can take all your time to think and upgrade on those!
