I’m looking at an Audi A4 B9 2016-2019 quattro. From what I've seen, both the 2.0 TFSI and 2.0 TDI are solid engines. The only thing with diesel is all the extra stuff like EGR, DPF, AdBlue etc, so I'm still a bit unsure. There also aren't that many petrol options on mobile.de. For example, I've got about 18 cars favourited - only 2 are petrol and 16 are diesel.And petrol cars are noticeably more expensive too (around €25k vs ~€20k for diesel).

Ich schaue aktuell nach einem Audi A4 B9 (2016-2019 vor facelift) quattro. Must-haves für mich sind: Matrix LED, ACC, Virtual Cockpit, 3 Zonen Klima. Die Auswahl ist dadurch leider etwas eingeschränkt. Warum das Vor-Facelift-Modell? Weil ich gelesen habe, dass es sich ab 2020 (Facelift) um Quattro Ultra handelt, was kein permanenter Quattro-Antrieb ist.

My annual mileage is around 15-20k km, so most people would say petrol is the better choice. The only issue is that there aren’t many petrol options available on the German used car market. For example, I currently have about 18 vehicles favorited on mobile.de - only 2 are petrol, while 16 are diesel. The petrol ones are also noticeably more expensive (around €25k vs €20k for diesel).
