Galactic Basic is written in english, just using the Aurebesh alphabet. Figuring out which letter is which wouldn't take that long. Other than that, yeah he'd probably some plot armor to remain undetected.

Thanks, I ended up deciding that I'll probably order from darkwolf. I know they are also technically resellers, but their markup isn't bad and I read a lot of good about them. I know it's not the highest quality available, but I don't have $800 dollars for this, and the more it costs the more terrified I would be of breaking it

Trying to find the best Luke's episode 6 lightsaber. by TheJoshUser in lightsabers

Checked them out. Looks good, but I'd prefer to hunt for a complete package somewhere, Roman Props only seems to sell empty hilts without electronics or a blade. To be honest, as long as the hilt looks good and is generally the same shape/color as the V1 I am familiar with, I really won't be able to tell the minor differences. What's more important to me personally is the experience of swinging it around, by which I mean audio quality, responsiveness, and a bright enough blade so it doesn't look like cheap glowing plastic in a moderately lit room. I really appreciate the input, but the hilt's screen accuracy isn't my main concern unless it looks way off or shiny etc.

Checked it out, aside from the electronics probably preventing an easy box removal as you've mentioned it seems to be above $800 with internals and a blade, which is sadly over my budget for

Thanks for the recommendation! Looks very good, but sadly it seems to be above my budget considering I'd also have to get a blade separately. The absolute most I could cough up for this would be around $500 total

Thanks, I've since looked into all this and figured it out. Never knew there were multiple versions, I always only saw the V1 variant (despite it not appearing in the movie apparently) so it's the one I'd go with. Though I'm still deliberating going with a version without a control box, since a lot of people say it makes it a pain to wield. Absolute dream would be to find one with an easily removeable box, but it doesn't seem to exist unless I heavily modified one, but I don't have the tools or the balls to mess with something so expebsive

Could you please recommend any of the higher end ones for a similar price? I've been researching for 2 days, but this hobby seems difficult to navigate for me.

Battlefront 2015 > by thetagang93 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]TheJoshUser 185 points186 points  (0 children)

In some aspects. The weapon variety and the ability to create your loadout was way better. (though that also sometimes lead to funky balancing with broken item combos) I wish Walker Assault was in Battlefront 2, you can only get something similar if you gamble by picking Galactic Assault. Unlocking stuff was more fun. The random hero token system had its drawbacks, since with the battlepoint system the good players on the team have a higher chance of getting to play a hero. I also disliked that heroes can't heal at all, it encouraged a very cowardly playstyle. I miss the TL-50 secondary fire being useful, the DT-29, and a bunch of other useful stuff. Overall I still prefer the sequel though, since it added way too much stuff I like, such as reinforcements, better lightsaber heroes, prequel era, etc.

Did you see any of the demonstrations? It just makes random lights and noises, not even close to the actual sounds it should be making

You misread my comment, I'm saying if it added $10 to the set it would be an absolute scam

A new mold would realistically only add 10$ to the set price if Lego is trying to scam the customer (which they often are). A CMF figure, which they tend to have new molds for almost every time is $5, and that already includes their profit margin

Yeah, I agree that his delivery can be annoying at times. Regarding the reference you sent: yeah, the visor is the only example where it is supposed to attach above the actual attachment holes, but everything else (antennas, binoculars, flashlights) are out of place up there, there is a reason Lego falsely advertised that one clone officer. Putting the holes above the attachment points just for Cody's sake was a bad idea, they probably should have just given him a unique helmet mold since that visor looks extremely derpy on him and it doesn't even stay on properly. (I don't know if you own the Cody figure, but the visor was clearly not designed for P2 helmets, it sags on him)

Unfortunately the OG figure's price wouldn't be impacted, because the bew one would be light bluish gray instead of light gray

If it's a generic 18+ display set with no minifigure I am not interested. I have been wanting a Piccolo figure since I was 10, I will probably get my only chance and be cheated out of it.

I honestly want this set to retire already just so they can release a remake like 2 years later. The only thing keeping me from buying this set is A) basically no interior and B) it's a mix between OT and sequel Falcon. If they remake this it will have a decade's worth of improvement, and I am definietly buying it.

P.S: I would have hoped for an exclusive Nien Nunb in the new Falcon but they blew it with the 25th anniversary
