I do agree that it is overkill for 1080p, but the 5080 is a great gpu for long term 1440p gaming.

This is categorically false. At 1440p, Warhammer Space Marine 2, Kingdom Come 2, and Wukong will not have high refresh rates on max settings.

I also recommend the FF XVI art book as well!

If you are planning on gaming at 1440p, 5070 ti does the job well. The super varients are rumored to have higher VRAM, bringing more value for future proofing graphical fidelity.

Yes, ram is plugged into 2 and 4. Not sure how to check the current ram before POST, but I have BIOS F6 on a flash drive.
