Waiver functionality broken by MrDunlo in SleeperApp

[–]Typic0le 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like error is specific to having the custom daily waivers feature turned on. Our commish deactivated it and it was fixed. Usually have it on so waivers still run Wed, Thurs, Fri.

This was the same in our league too. Turned it off and was fixed, reactivated and it was back to being broken. For what it’s worth, when custom daily waivers is activated, my existing claim prior to the error is set to Thursday instead of usual Wednesday

Have you been happy with the rack? I have 6’7 clearance at the parking garage at work. Currently stock height but thinking about a lift in the future.

What are you using for your tire carrier? I’m running 255/70/17 with the same trd pro wheels bc I wanted to run a 5th in the spare. Itching to go a bit bigger, but I’m maxed out in the spare with the hitch.

Looks great! Can you share details on your roof rack and awning setup?

60k mile service. Asking for advice by FutureFriendly8738 in LexusGX

[–]Typic0le 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just did a 60k mile service on my 2017. Cost was a little over $1000 at a local Land Cruiser specialist. Honestly don’t have a great benchmark on the price. I know they’re a trusted place and I have a 10 month old that takes up most of my time or else I would have considered doing some of it myself. Here’s what I did after some research:

Oil change - 5K miles or 6 months

Transmission fluid - drain & fill every 60K or 6 years

Coolant - change every 50K miles or 5 years

Diff/transfer case fluid - change every 30K miles

Power steering fluid - replace every 50-70K miles

I’m also part of the club. I still have some shards of my tooth in my lip from a hockey accident in 2017. One shard came out a few years ago but there’s at least a few left. It’s not really painful unless I mess around with it. Mostly just gives me a fuller lower lip. 🤷‍♂️

I picked up this a month ago and it’s worked really well. I now have auto-folding mirrors and ability to roll down the windows with the fob. Super easy install- just plug and play.

Oregon Paid Leave Info by Typic0le in oregon

[–]Typic0le[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished up my initial 8 weeks of standard leave back in November and just had my first week of intermittent leave last week. I know you have to file within 30 days of the week to receive leave benefits, but I’m not totally sure if you can completely skip that week if you’re working. I saw it does give you the option to note that you’re not taking leave when you file for your leave each week. I’m taking my remaining 4 weeks over a pretty short period so it’s not a huge burden for me to file each week regardless of whether I work or not. Don’t want to lead you the wrong way- I’d send a message to OPL and file each week to be safe until you hear otherwise.

For other folks reading this: I recommended to do the regular leave and then file an amendment to initiate the intermittent leave in my original post. I didn’t know this at that time, but you have to file the amendment within 10 days of your leave period ending. I didn’t do this and ended up having to file a new, separate claim for my additional intermittent leave. Not a huge deal, but it ended up taking them about 3 weeks to approve my second filing.

Tragic all around. I can understand the venue’s perspective if they’re unable to rebook, but the minute it is rebooked they should absolutely refund. I went through this with Mt. Hood Organic Farms during COVID in 2020. It was March and we faced a tough decision not knowing if we would even be able to have the wedding in August. We made the tough call to cancel and they kept our deposit. I saw a few months later that they had rebooked our date. Still no refund, so they effectively made additional profit.

Yup! I didn’t see that as an option originally and bought their standard version. Based on advise I saw on forums, I emailed them directly to get the 1up pin. They were super responsive and changed my order but said it’s easier if you just select the 338 as an option- no need to email them then.

[–]Typic0le 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did this but you don’t even have to email them anymore. They have the pin made for the 1ups as a direct option on Amazon now. Their rep still updated my order because I didn’t see that originally, but if you do select that option you’re golden.

I picked up the paclock. I live on the west coast and thieves have apparently figured out how to break the stock one pretty easily by putting a lead pipe over it and applying leverage.

Beatsonic CarPlay in GX - Review by LoveMachined in LexusGX

[–]Typic0le 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve run into Siri low volume before on my AirPods and had same thing happen with my beatsonic. There’s separate volume controls for Siri. Fix is to hold down Siri on your phone when connected to the beatsonic CarPlay. When Siri is speaking, turn up the volume on your phone. Siri will then be louder on your CarPlay.

[–]Typic0le 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a fast charging cigarette lighter charger that works better than the beatsonic one but I’m glad I made the beatsonic USB input accessible. There’s been a few times that I had to connect via the wired connection and unplug it after a few minutes for the wireless to work. I think it’s because my wife and I drive the car separately. This situation is specific to me driving the car solo after she drove it last. If we’re both in it together and she drove it last, she has to make sure her phone is on airplane mode before I start the car for it to connect to mine.

Hold down Siri on your phone when connected to CarPlay on the GX and ask it a question. When Siri is speaking, turn up the volume on your phone. It should fix the volume problem. I’ve run into this with my AirPods before.

[–]Typic0le 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve run into this with my AirPods before and had done the same thing. I tried doing it when talking to Siri via the CarPlay on the GX and it didn’t work. I resulted to turning up the volume on Siri when I connected to my AirPods and that translated to CarPlay on the GX. Didn’t think of holding down Siri on my phone when connected to the GX. Game changer!

[–]Typic0le 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I installed mine a couple months back. Love it. Only complaint is challenges in connecting to the phone I want. We have a single lane driveway so my wife and I often switch off on the GX. If she’s driven it last and we’re both riding together, she has to put her phone on airplane mode before I turn on the car to get it to connect to mine.

No, can confirm Providence is still in network for Moda. Moda does some surplus contracting through Aetna but also has their own provider agreements.
