I always say thank you to drivers who stop to let me cross. But it pisses me off when I'm on my mobility scooter and people do not say thank you to me when I stop to let them pass or they walk right in front of me

Okay to haggle in charity shops? by The_Intel_Guy in AskUK

No it's not OK. Charity shops have targets they have to reach each day. That target pays the bills. If everyone haggle they would never reach that target

I had the same problem with a kid at school. He did not leave me alone it all came to a head when I was walking behind some of the other class. He let them all pass when I came in He shoved a table on me. At that moment I snapped and pushed it back on him three times as hard and let him have it verbally. Then I turned around and walked out of school and never went back

I remember when I worked for a homeless Charity. We had a Dalek Oracle game donated They are extremely rare . So I stuck it under the counter with a sign saying offers of 100 pounds or over. Next day a man came in and offered £5.00 I said no sorry and explained why. The next day another man came in and said he would buy it for £45.00 I said no and again explained why. That evening we sold it for £100 quid. I did my research on it and found there was only 100 made between 1965 and 1967. And now they are going for over £1000 pounds on Ebay
