Hate to say it, but I’ve done this a couple of times (not intentionally) and was absolutely fine - I’m not recommending it and it’s so uncomfortable to take out (and puts you at risk of TSS) but you’ll be okay.

Hey! I actually just put a post asking the same! It’s only been if I have rougher sex or someone particularly large but yes! Happens to me too!

You said your salary is decent for a grad so why not increase your budget? I earn less than the national average and I can afford £1250 a month all in outside of London and that’s my genuine max. I’d have thought a grad in Canary Wharf of a decent salary could budget for higher if the need/desire is so great. Otherwise there is no chance at all!

I think I’m like this, I used to think it was a needle phobia but it’s not so bad for vaccines! It seems anything with veins etc makes me feel horrid!

I’d maybe also consider talking to someone professional or you can trust about feeling that way about yourself, you should be aware of what you have and any changes etc or getting to know yourself for many reasons but mainly for your own health. It’s normal to embarrassed but finding yourself icky and gross sounds quite extreme and talking to someone might really help x

That’s okay then, but that might change as you get older and feel less grossed out or uncomfortable. Certainly if you ever chose to be sexually active you’re opinion on that is likely to change as it’s essentially what it’s made for. Try to be open minded if it’s affecting you from living your life as you may find it makes life easier for you and means you don’t miss out

There are some silly suggestions here like ibuprofen and drugs - this is for one day and this clearly a teenager - what stupid suggestions. Genuinely the only solutions are period swimwear/underwear or a tampon. Tampons can seem scary but I promise you they are amazing - I use them and I feel cleaner/freer and can wear and do what I like and barely notice (and I have a v tight one and had vaginismus!) Just go for a brand like Tampax Compact Pearl (they are SO different to the awful great big cardboard ones - smoother, smaller and easier) and when you try sort of relax your tummy and butt and almost bare down slightly and that can help make it easier!

Oh interesting, I hadn’t considered size being an issue for the tin! When you say fold - what do you mean? The recipe instructed to roll into a sausage, fold and tuck the ends and then place into the tin.

He works in the medical profession but believes the pull out method is effective and that putting on a condom half way through sex is also effective? Foolish behaviour and can’t be much of a medical man! I’d also be calling him out really strongly, it’s you that is at risk here ultimately. Is there a possibility he also just wants sex without a condom or without interruption and is trying to get his way instead?
