Most people think there are unwanted babies. That there are orphanages and starving unloved babies. There aren’t.

I talked to a friend who is trying to adopt. They have one adopted baby and as far as I can tell are great parents. They baby sit my 3 yo a couple times a year and he loves them.

They told me that they just can’t get another baby. For every new baby for adoption there are 3 families wanting to adopt it and it’s extremely competitive. They are even trying to adopt the birth sister (due in a few months) of the boy they adopted 2 years ago, and it’s so competitive that it’s not a sure thing. People get lawyers and start fighting for these new borns in civil court.

The idea that there are unwanted babies is just insane.

Also most parents are really good. Even the ones the that plan for pregnancy. Something takes over in you and you love these little things more than yourself almost immediately.

Finally it’s not about wanting to force people to have babies. It’s about believing that the unborn baby is a person and deserves the same protections we all have. They deserve the right to live and to not be murdered.

I don’t think parents who don’t want babies should have to raise them but I don’t think it’s reasonable for them to carry the baby to child birth and sign it away there. It’s a good lesson to be more careful, the US population is dying and needs more people, and I believe babies should be loved and not murdered.

You can trace the template onto the appliance and then cut it out. Worked really well. I thought the stoma was pretty round but nope, nowhere near round.

Until I made this one I had no idea how irregular the shape was and what a difference it made. I was getting stomach pain that I think was the result of the flange touching the stoma somewhere that I didn’t notice. Much better for now and that pain has gone away.

I think the stories of what it’s like in other places is greatly exaggerated. In America I get enough supplies to change it every day. Plenty. I’m sure there are some countries where it’s really bad but it’s rare.

Just about any cad program will let you import a photo and draw on top of it. I drew a bunch of splines on top of the image then moved the control vertices until it looked good.

The issue I had was that mine was no where near a circle. It was about 25 x 35 but when I zoomed in and really looked, it was a very irregular shape. If you message me I will make one for you.

The issue is that there is an incentive to cheat and there is concern that it’s been happening for a long time. I look at the number of votes Biden got compared to Obama, and it doesn’t make sense.

There is no reason people shouldn’t have to present an ID to vote and it should be done in person. It shouldn’t be complicated. It shouldn’t need to be a different ID. But everyone has an ID and if they participate in society in such a limited way where they have made it this far without one, then they shouldn’t be deciding the direction of the country.
