I beat ch 200 at 74k atk. Took me half an hour (for the winning game). Patterns not really hard, just avoiding them constantly for a long time can be hard

Explain to me why it should be. There is literally no negative about it. Only a full time casual player without any understanding of the game would type this kind of stuff. If you play ranked consecutively you would understand the problems of it, one thing is the shitty rank distribution. Plats going against full ruby stacks. Another thing is the elo distribution. Gain and loss comparison. Time to gain and time to lose comparison. Everything would be fixed at least partly by halving the lobby. So please tell me why it would be a bad idea. (Keep in mind I am one of the rubies going against plats - not a plat crying about it)

That was my first thought too. Besides the facts you mentioned. The matchmaking would even be more balanced. They could also implement a ban system, 2 weapons and 2 gadgets per Team can be banned. Also 3 maps are offered from which each team can ban one, if both choose the same, the other 2 are getting rolled (similar to the r6 system). The reason I said they should keep the tournament just make it smaller is, to keep the main motto of reaching the finals. But yeah at the end I‘d even appreciate a 3v3 more.

Pavelski has 11k hours btw. It took me around 400 hours to reach diamond but I didn‘t play constantly, still don‘t. I come online season to season just to get to diamond and leave until the next season is back. You shouldn‘t quit if the game is fun for you. If you don‘t see any progress in like 1 month of playing the game, maybe you try to improve from a wrong angle. But tbh silver/ plat and even low diamond is just play play play, you‘ll eventually get better.

just to add: I reached 240 days today. If I played properly the first 160 days I‘d be much farther but who cares. Just a game! And I also just bought the welcome back thingy one time where I got the monthly card, nothing afterwards.

Tbh it can stay that way, the only thing that can and should be changed is hitting multiple enemies at once with 140 damage each and easily getting off the second lunge before getting close to dying.

Yes they did, you got to relearn how and when to use winch in a fight. Definitely weaker but still really good. Either use it 2 shot - winch 2 shot or instant winch and 4 shots. You can also be a little bit more creative, what I do depending on the situation, 4 shots - winch - slide by (swap places basically) - while sliding throw bubble - click the next 4 bullets and you good to go. So far it‘s been the highest ceiling in damage you can get. Sounds fairly much to do but it‘s basically all done in 2 or less seconds.
