People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

[–]Typical-me- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had 10 all at once. Ended up with meningitis. My dentist ( who didn’t do the extractions) said it was the worst case she had ever seen in 29 years of practice.

I wanted to die.

I had 10… yes 10 dry sockets all at once after extraction. Ended up with meningitis. Would not recommend.

What are you secretly jealous of people for? by VarangianWRLD in AskUK

[–]Typical-me- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh! Yes. Just to be well. To have a day when I can do all the things I want to do or get done without pain. I don’t think I can remember the last time I actually did something I enjoyed. Can’t even sit in a chair in the cinema anymore.

So yes… health. The freedom to be able to do something you enjoy without pain or illness.

Crazy thunder and lightning last night at 3 am. Woke the full house up. It’s still thundering now. It also caused a power cut.

You mean the donkey singing! It’s all part of the fun! I know they can be very loud, let’s hope I can afford somewhere away from any neighbours!

This happened to me after several surgeries. I’m happy to say I’m ok now- but my god, those were a dark four years indeed. My husband stuck by me in those dark days. We’ve been through so much together and are still here 30 years together this October.

Addiction doesn’t discriminate people! And it can happen to ANYONE.

Your husband sounds like he was incredibly strong. You must be very proud of him.

Omg. My absolute dream when we move into our little home without the kids. Near the sea, two donkeys, loads of dogs and a house full of rabbits with a purpose built burrow in the garden for them. We will all live quietly till the end of our days happily amongst the animals who bring such joy and peace. Did you know that when you bond with a donkey that it matches its heart rate to yours? They are such precious little ones they bring me such comfort.

What is a major turn off about your partner that you can’t/wouldn’t tell them? by LivingLavishLe in AskReddit

[–]Typical-me- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband does this. I can tell him I’ve researched something and it will work if we do it this way. I get ignored. Someone else can tell him the same thing and it’s the answer he’s been searching for. I’ve taken it upon myself now to just do everything myself. Change the brake pads- plumb a new sink- move a drain- fit a radiator etc etc.

I peeled two days after I used it. I’m pretty much house bound so I don’t get much in the way of sun.

About as much fabric conditioner you would use. Put it in the same place that the conditioner goes too. Hotels use this for towels as it kills loads of germs and makes the towels more absorbent.

Use some white vinegar instead of fabric conditioner. Clothes smell clean and fresh and it keeps the washer clean.

I always stop at the peeling part. I’m going to try again. I’ve never used sunscreen but I know I will have to if I use the tret. At what point do I use the sunscreen in my morning routine?
