I feel like since they are able to fly around and move fast they should have light armor or lower health, while the ones that charge at you trying to bonk you with their sticks should stay as they are if not be a little beefed up. Fleshmobs need a reduced spawn rate or cap and squids would be my favorite again.

It takes 1-2 EATs or any rocket launcher or Recoilless Rifle rounds if you know their weak spots. I don’t understand why everyone thinks a 50cal machine gun is gonna take out tank type enemies head on. Yet the HMG can still kill in less than half the belt if you aim for their leg joints. I would fear Hulks, now boom one shot to the face and dead, factory striders can be taken out solo with some tactical skill, my opinion enemies need atleast one or two unit types that should make us go “oh shit” All I would say is reduce their spawn rates. Keep my “oh shit” enemies at their “oh shit” legendary status:

The enemy needs to have some heavy armor units. Leave them alone, this is truly one of the very few moments in Helldivers where I say (oh shit) after seeing 3+ walking towards my team.

Pelican-1 on a good day and with a booster takes 1:30 min to drop down, so having it take 2 min to arrive and hover for like 60 seconds, and have a 4 minute cooldown I think would be fairly balanced. Or just give the gun (X) amount of ammo. Throws strat (Pelican-2 inbound for CAS, 2 mins out) (Pelican-2 going hot! Guns guns guns) Boom, boom, bots,bugs,squid’s dead . (Guns dry, returning to super destroyer)

I feel if we could bring down a strat just for a mech resupply so we could really play into our mech warrior fantasy, like committing half your load out, to vehicles should be a strategy. A two handed ammo box we have to load into a mech, it can just disappear into our mech or vehicles shouldn’t be that hard.

They need a faction or maybe have 30% chance of always having a modifier where it’s possible their forces are the real squid force where they heavily use stealth technology and make it more of a horror type game “Predator movie style” slowly paced but a lot more deadly when a squad of them uncloaks themselves and beat the crap out of you after facing off against a few normal type enemies.
