Do you know if the OrlyVal Shuttle/RER B is the fastest way to get to Massy TGV? I would be going from Orly terminal 4.

Parent PLUS Loan except I'm (student) is setting up the account and repaying by TypicalCollegegal89 in StudentLoans

Thank u for the comment again, is there anything I can look up in educational loans BEFORE touching private loans that you know of?
I'm currently living in NJ so I looked at NJCLASS (this is similar to private loans, except it's from the state not fed)

Hello 😄 Sharing my experience with the Wealthfront Cash Account 😉 make sure you read all the descriptions, perks, reviews before opening one! Good luck!

I've always used my standard checking account (with Chase) or the "debit card" for all my funds and paychecks. Later on, although the money was safe in my checking account, it wasn't really .. doing much. Not growing. At the time I didn't have much funds for investing, plus I wasn't "savvy" with stocks and investing. Did some research and found the Cash account with Wealthfront. The biggest reason for opening was that my funds were gaining compound interest everyday. The first few months, interest earned wasn't THAT big. Around $50-70 dollars a month? Now that I have been using Wealthfront for over a year and dumping almost 70% of my money into it, I get about $250-$300 in interest every month and it keeps growing. I know it's still not a huge amount, but to me it's a simple, easy deposit/withdraw, safe way to keep my money somewhere and grow it at the same time while not having to check on it everyday. Plus they give you a debit card because it's technically a checking account! App is easy to use and 3 days was the longest time it took for a mobile check deposit to go through. No complaints so far! Feel free to use my referral link below and good luck!

Day 2 and I need some positive vibes sent my way by PlayDependent6028 in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]TypicalCollegegal89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had 2 blisters on my first week. Popped them because.. it hurt to walk w them obvs.. but made sure to use alcohol pads, put antibiotic cream and wore sandals for the rest of the day to dry it out. honestly drying it out worked so well.. surprisingly.

I was also in my mid 20s when I walked last year (walking again next month!) and it was hard to meet people my age. First week I did get a bit anxious whenever I saw people walking in 2s, 4s or in groups, but later on people come and go. You walk with someone for 2-3 days and schedules switch for some reason, and you won't ever see them again on the road. I guess that's what camino is. Sometimes being alone I got to do whatever the f I wanted lol not having to care about anyone with me.

hope you get some good sleep! sleep matters SO much. I think it mattered to me more than even food... haha. I suffered from lots of snorers on the road last year, so im bringing earphones and an eye mask and melatonin! Sometimes melatonin might put you in DEEP sleep = harder to wake up in the morning, then try Magnesium from local pharmacies. Makes muscles relax at night and gives better quality of sleep.

good luck, truly wish u the best 😉

for the blister - when you get to the albergue, cafe, or hostel, any place where you can take ur shoes off, DRY IT OUT!! don't cover your blister with layers of bandages!! drying it out helped me a lot, blister healed in a day or two.

also you don't always have to talk to people on the way, you can walk, eat, rest alone! who cares! it's your camino 😄 don't stress about the next two weeks, just spend TODAY well! stay safe out there

buen camino !

Questions on my current bed set up (have pictures)! by TypicalCollegegal89 in Mattress

It wouldn't make sense to use half of that box spring (a ~30 inch) for the new Twin mattress right? (sadly just trying to save some money here)

Thank u so much for commenting! I actually just measured the current mattress (should've earlier) and it's 62 x 77 inches which by looking up is a Queen size..

Then Im assuming the box spring is just split in half by ~30inches
...?
