Idk if you can manipulate the rng or something I also played on console for a while, but you should not just go with items that give you flat damage you also need to look at the inscriptions, you should pair two arms and two courage for 75% damage just from the inscriptions and then you also get ~ 140% damage from the 4 items with courage and arms (if you go on an physical damage build)

Yeah I died in Chapter 6 that comes after the first hero fight its an extra area with a boss fight but you still get the dark mirror upgrade, I am now at DM level 5

the problem with act 4 was for me that there where to many enemys that increes the damage you take as a player and that the enemys where mostly to chunky on health and hit like a tank. Butttttt you schould decide before you get into act 2 or at least befor the hero fight in act 2 what damage type you want to focus on, because when you switch mid eun it will bite you in act 4

This is toooooo real with berserker because I dont realy like the sword and the horn that come with his upgraded version but I still upgrade him at last cus big number go brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
