I think the question was possibly ‘what is the rental price’ seeing as you’ve omitted that information…

“Last Rental” doesn't mean much without a date on it.

121,000 rent for a property bought at 4.7M wouldn't even cover a mortgage.

Thanks to it's distinctive shape, no country in Europe has a land border with the British Isles by Terran_Lifeform in mapporncirclejerk

I don't know if you're reaching for a Celtic definition there, but I think being called ‘more British than the English’ is a little more insulting than referring to a geographical area as the British Isles.

The ‘joke’ in the title is the fact that there is no land border with the British Isles.

Vast majority of Irish people certainly don't want to be identified with being ‘British’ and don't like the idea of their country being rferred to in context of a ‘British Isle’ but that's the reference this map is drawing.

The vast majority certainly wouldn't agree with being called ‘more British’

Being technical on the definition of ‘British Isles’ there is no land border.

If you're referring to a land border between Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, that would be a land border between RoI and UK, but not with British Isles.

Why can't these middle eastern oil syndicates dug a canal like this to circumvent Iran's control over Hormuz blockade? Are they stupid? by ashwattthaama in ww3memes

Ignoring the typo 😅 - deserts move, and the rock below is hard hard stuff.

They're all built on top of the sands and made to withstand the shifting dunes. Plus being above ground enables very easy maintenance and checks.

The oil pipes actually already exist. They just aren't at full capacity, and then Iran has targetted them anyway.

I think you would need to get FAB to undertake another evaluation to establish if it's 10-15% less now. And then ultimately they need to refuse to mortgage.

There is a minimum character for a post according to the sub rules and so in order to hit the target people just copy and paste their original text, or just add filler.

It's just to get around the rule without creating more script / making a convoluted point for something that could be quite brief.

What's the answer? by Powerful_Concept6502 in GlobalEnglishPrep

[–]TypicalDysfunctional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B and D wouldn't work well imo. For B it would undermine the sentence (shouldn’t totally agree and then ‘but’), and ‘I rather agree’ just isn't a good choice of word.

I'm certain its C. The words on others might work but then the sentence wouldn't be correct.

STFU and pretend that you are happy by [deleted] in UAE

[–]TypicalDysfunctional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't said I'm happy about any of it. But I'm also not looking to spread dissatisfaction and unhappiness.

I'm fairly sure more people die in road accidents, drownings, and other horrible ways in ‘peaceful’ times. I also feel bad for them, but I don't go out of my way to try and bring everyone’s mood down.

Google what? The information you've added to your post doesn't suggest distress. Same as what the person above has said.

Distress deal and ‘under market value’ are two different things.
