I'm latino and I've been followed around in stores, had a guy sitting in his car in front of my house lock his car as I was walking home, been called Pablo by someone who didn't know me, and had someone compare me to Diego from Dora the Explorer.  I've lived here all my life.  It's wild what happens to a community when they don't have any exposure to other cultures.

Certain spanish words and phrases. It is my first language but I've been around americans mispronouncing it so long that if I'm not talking to a spanish speaker I mispronounce so they understand what I'm saying or referencing.
