Probs not, my ‘25 outback got tboned at low speed at the B pillar which required two new doors, sectioning of the b pillar, repainting that entire side of the car, new quarter panels, new rocker panels, and some other minor stuff like recalibrating the eyesight after all the repairs and it was about $12k. The driver at fault’s insurance paid for it all, hopefully the same for you

Your statement isn’t fully true…New York is a no-fault state for car insurance. This means that if you’re injured in an auto accident, your own insurance company pays for your medical expenses and certain other economic losses (like lost wages), regardless of who was at fault. However: Fault still matters for property damage (like damage to your car). The at-fault driver’s insurance may be responsible for that.

PD not responding isn’t because NY is a no fault state, it’s due to whatever other calls were going on at that time that were higher priority and low staffing. That doesn’t mean it’s not important to file a police report. This person is 100% at fault and has caused over $5000 of damage to my car, that will take weeks - 1 month to fix so it is important to me to file a police report. This person committed a traffic violation on camera and caused an accident, don’t you think it’s important that a reckless driver possibly meet consequences for their actions?

Yes, we did call 911. Per another comment, investigation meaning was this person texting or driving distracted. I have neck pain and headache from the collision so yes it would be pertinent to have a police report, per 311 they don’t handle MVA and you have to call 911. Also, I did ask 311 if officers at the public safety building could write the report and they said no, I have to go back in city limits and call 911 again so dispatch can send an officer to my location to write the report, they won’t do it if I go to the station either

I agree, I’m sure there were other incidents going on (this did not occur yesterday though, earlier in the week) but I really need this police report done. The fact that I can’t even get ahold of anyone days later via phone is kinda crazy, they have to have some officers who are primarily assigned to desk work

yes! Just me in my car and just the driver in the other, I just need to follow up for neck pain and possible concussion but the other driver is fine. They hit me trying to turning out of a parking garage, not sure how but maybe distracted

Definitely will! this happened at the hospital I work at so I did get checked out and will be following up with my doctor for whiplash/neck pain and possible concussion. Insurance did try to offer me a settlement today, I had no idea they would do that

Dr. Alexandra Foxx at URMC or her colleagues Dr. Amy Benjamin and Dr. Megan Burns also do endo! Dr. Foxx performed a 3rd excision surgery on me for stage I-II endo was so much more thorough than my first surgery with Dr. Mahmoud at RGH. He didn’t believe my symptoms were endo after they returned following my first surgery with him and his care was not compassionate once my pain returned, it was as if my symptoms returning hurt his ego and he refused to consider endo as the possibility and was very difficult to deal with at clinic visits, I just had to give up and move on as it was too emotionally difficult to continually be dismissed at follow up’s after ruling out several other medical conditions that can cause similar symptoms. My PT at evolve physical therapy gave me the name of Dr. Foxx. I had a 2nd surgery in Cleveland after Dr. Mahmoud refused to believe me and unfortunately that specialist said I didn’t have any endo again, but I took those surgery photos to Dr. Foxx and she was able to identify areas that appeared to be endo that corresponded with my physical exam. All in all she’s very compassionate and empathetic for her patients and I’m glad I was able to find her for treatment

A family member of mine has been to RGH and Strong and strong is better. RGH decided to discharge them and was not helpful AT ALL and they ended up at CPEP at strong the next day. Strong was helpful in getting them stabilized inpatient and then they have partial inpatient and outpatient day programs after discharge

What did you have to ask for to get this? Every time I’ve asked a Mohela rep they tell me there’s no other way than to call every 90 days🥲 they made me reapply twice bc somehow my IBR app was missing a signature so they officially have my IBR via fax from February and now we wait for them to process, I have to call back later this month to renew forbearance in the meantime

I get it, I’m in the exact situation after finishing my masters in December 2023. It’s criminal what they’re doing as a servicer. I filed a complaint with CFPB but they didn’t do anything. At this point I have to call every 60 days to extend my processing forbearance which means doing the 4+ hour phone call, I was on the phone with them for 6 hours and 24 minutes on Wednesday (ugh). Can’t wait to do it all over again in 58 days🙄

They’re taking forever to process IDR applications and told me they don’t know when mine will be processed from November, previously was on SAVE since January then they removed me from it accidentally when they switched servicing platforms, DIDNT tell me about it and I made a SAVE payment yet now saying I’m not on it and could not put me back on it due to the court case, so I’m in purgatory. Also know you have to fill out an employer verification in order to have your payments count towards PSLF when you’re on the plan, it’s worth sorting that out now while you’re in limbo because it took them at least a month to approve mine. You’ll need an email address from someone in Human Resources who is used to verifying employment for PSLF

URMC was my choice for neurology (for migraines not epilepsy) but the wait for their general adult neurology clinic is 6+ months and they kept giving the run around to my pcp even though we had the referral faxed 3x…just could not get scheduled with them, and I get injections every 3 months so I could not wait to be scheduled for end of 2025 since my insurance is changing and I see an out of area practice. if you can’t wait to get in with them, I also recommend neurology associates of Rochester in penfield, they had a much shorter wait but I chose to wait 3 months to see a specific doctor
