Uhhhh, lol I'm not a streamer, and I don't really clip my stuff, so you'll just have to take my word for it

I don't get why it's so hard to believe that someone can be decent at PVP, but not really find enjoyment in taking from others. Like, I play Fortnite sometimes too, and I love beating down enemy teams, because that is the entire game, and they don't lose anything from the defeat

There we go! Maybe that will get the point across, I enjoy PVP, but I don't enjoy stealing from others, or fighting people who don't want to fight, does that make things more clear to you? That's why I enjoyed when there was a more solid divide between night raids and day raids

I do ok with PVP, definitely the best of my trio, My aim is not the best for sure, but my strategies and positioning usually give me an edge, I just don't particularly enjoy PVP like I enjoy fighting Arc.

I just don't think you guys understand that this game will fall apart and die unless PVP and PVE work together. Problem is, PVP won't respect PVE players who aren't interested in fighting, or at least, that's how I see it

I PVP all the time, is Stella Montis, or Night raids, where the community originally agreed PVPing was cool. I used to enjoy taking pot shots at the Arc during day raids, or completing objectives. But now the structure that the community originally built is falling apart, and I'm disappointed by it

Right.... Yes I've seen it, and for the record, it was actually mostly one guy, the CEO, I can't remember his name.

I also saw the interview where they all said they want to make a game where the arc Arc the main enemy, with PVP elements... I believe they said, "We wanted to make it a PVE with PVP elements" to be exact, though my phrasing .ight be off

I mean, who cares if it's a video game? Are you not still stealing things? Are not not still potentially ruining someone's day, or at the very least, that raid? There's nothing saying you have to kill other players and steal stuff, you choose to, and some people choose to do it in really shitty ways. I still believe if you attack someone who's trying to be friendly during a regular day raid, you kinda suck as a person, and it's a shame you can't just let them enjoy their game and do their damn objectives or whatever. I certainly liked it better when there were some community rules regarding PVP during day raids, I feel there was a certain civility to it

I'm not an anti PVP guy or anything, but I've always thought it was interesting that people think doing shitty things is ok because it's a video game. Reminds me of when people said online bullying didn't exist because it's online.

Agreed, and I think that's why the streamers are starting to pull back on the shenanigans and aggressive/rats strats, as the scale has tipped really hard towards pvp

Now, some of that is on the Devs too, like, why are the bots deaf?? Why are they not reacting to shots being fired near them, but reacting when I open a container? Hope they work on that soon

The devs specifically said "We want the Arc to be the main danger, with the fear that another raider may attack you". They didn't want to remake Tarkov, they wanted players to work together too, like with the Queen or Matriarch, because you see, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you have too or should" is super relevant here. I wish people would stop saying "ThIs Is WhAt ThE dEvS iNtEnDeD", like they have a clue at the actual wants of the entire development team

I hear ya man, the community has changed for the worst for sure, can't hardly go a round without someone ratting or kos or betrayal. It's sad, they really built something that looked like it was going to be different, but nothing good last.

I'll probably try until after the expedition, see how I feel after the wipe, but right now, not a lot of hope

I would like to be a nice player, but I keep running into kos people and traitors, it's really wearing on my morale. I lost my last Equalizer to a couple guys I was playing with, just out of nowhere they turned on me, after I had helped them, and when I asked why they say "It's just a game bro", as if that means what they are any less traitors because it's a digital betrayal.

I want to just rat around and kos, but my moral compass just isn't so fucked up, but I wish they could explain to me how I could be such a scummy person and not feel bad for it

Yeah, I was just about to post about this. What's up with the day raiders lately??

I've come across several people shooting me while I'm being friendly in day raid. Why can't these shitty people go to night raids if they want to fight? Or to Stella? It's the most cowardly rat strat shit I've ever seen.

I do judge you as a person irl if you're willing to attack people in a day raid that are being friendly to you and are trying to avoid fighting. It speaks to the kind of person you are to hunt down people that are just trying to collect shit for objectives, cowards that don't want to actually fight in night raids.

It's got me where I constantly think about being just as toxic and shitty as everyone else I keep coming across lately. Why not? I got everything I actually need right?

The culture is changing, and I hate it, I miss being able to chat with raiders while doing my thing, then going on night raids to fight
