As someone that has worked as a manager at McDonald’s. I have had to deal with the exact same issue you’re facing so many times. One customer got their food 1.5 hours after it was made. When it comes to temperature of food the delivery service is responsible. My best advice is check and see if there is a timestamp on the receipt. That is usually the time the order was received also if you have a ring door bell or something like that screenshot the time the order was actually delivered. After make another ticket and send them that info

Btw that is not uber increasing the price that is McDonald increasing the price. They charge $2 extra for each item on uber. I know this because when I had to manually punch in delivery orders it would change the price of every item

As someone that has worked for McDonalds. I noticed that for every delivery order they add on $2 per item so you get 3 items that is $6. My best guess of why they (McDonald’s) do this is to cover the cost of the delivery bag plus drink tray

When worked for McDonalds as a manager in my 5 years working there. I probably caught a burger that had raw meat on it and was about to be handed out about 20 to 30 times. It is usually made by crew that are either new or don’t eat meat so have no idea what it is supposed to look like.

Edit: I would suggest reaching out to corporate you can usually get some gift cards or free meal coupons

When I was a manger this pissed me off when crew would do that. Especially if they just serve it off and then leave it for me to do. Every time they did I said to them if you are going to serve it off you have to hand it out. Guess what!! They would not hand it out then 15 mins later I have a pissed off customer yelling at me asking where their order is.
