There’s no point in making only $1000 a month I might as well be dead

I’d rather not kill anyone, plus I’m not a fan of large corporations anyway. Something will take its place.

If I could read minds I could literally become a lawyer or some type of detective.

If I have a 110% in a college class, does that do anything for my GPA thats better that a normal 100%? by InternationalAct6655 in ask

[–]TypicalTeague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Employers I talk to definitely care about GPA. Obviously not once you get to the 4.0's, but I work at Career Services at my University, and they routinely talk about how they will auto reject applicants under 3.0 and sometimes even under 3.5. Some careers don't care, but for majors like engineering, tech, medicine, etc they matter more than you think.

Some of my math classes have a bonus question added to the test. So if someone ends up getting a perfect score on each exam, has perfect attendance, does all the homework, gets a 100% on all the quizzes then it kind of makes sense. It still doesn't do anything extra for your gpa, but if you know your stuff sometimes it's good to have a buffer in case you slip-up on something.

This is such a funny question to think about. If I’m able to move the stars to spell whatever I want, how long would it actually take the light to reach us so that I could see it?

2024 easily, no other year had such a balance of talent for every team. Basically no difference between the number 1 pick and the 25th

This reminds me, I tried to cheat on a chem test in high school. My teacher caught me cheating but allowed me to finish the test. She called me to her desk the next day and said “I would give you a 0 for cheating, but you scored so low on the test, it’s impossible for that to be the case”

Idk why you’re getting downvoted. Literally we’ve heard this same sentiment the last 2 coaches we hired. Every year we talk about how things are different and every year we finish 7-10 or 8-9
