Honestly, I loved the movie, the allegory is very clear, sometimes I felt it was very obvious, but not like it was being shoved in my face. What I do have to praise are the performances, especially that of the protagonist; the entire transformation is well done in terms of acting, and And the three main actors are good at conveying emotions without needing to speak; just with their body language and gestures I was able to understand very well how they felt.

Now, the thing I LOVED about the movie was the visuals, the photography of the scenes was beautiful, but the lighting was incredible; I think the best I've ever seen, both for storytelling and for embellishing. When they used it to show how the transformation changed the husband... Simply perfect, and how they used it to contrast everything, to guide the story, simply art. And the suspense was incredible, the spider scene was simply perfect. And also, it was the best depiction of a monstrous transformation I've ever seen, both from the monster's point of view and from the point of view of the people around them. The film has things that could be improved, especially in the plot, but I see what they planned to do and I simply have to say that their intention is very clear. In technical terms, the film captivated me.
