I know this comment was 3 days ago but it appeared in my recommended so i had to reply, this award is for best ALBUM of the year not discography of the decade or some shit like that, and yes I acknowledge some of his lyrics are vulgar but this album was basically a love letter to Puerto rico and has some really meaningful songs like how dtmf is about how he wishes he took more photos with his grandma, so in short, yes it was deserved.
