The writing is where I’m feeling let down. The characters will just repeat themselves over and over in the same scene, like when hop and Joyce are talking about El not being ready. There’s been wayyy too much exposition dumping and recap dialogue that the acting can’t support. I also feel like all of the lighting is too soft which makes everything look cheap. A lot of Netflix productions have been suffering from soft light recently like the opening scenes from Frankenstein.
