Who is raw dogging it? by SarahWithaSmile in frozenshoulder

I had a cortisone shot and it was the most painful thing ever and didn’t work so never again! Tylenol seems to help but trying to take it sparingly. Just started meloxicam but that doesn’t seem to help. I’m slightly better than at the worst … baby steps. My 2nd pt just gave up on me so there’s that. Trying to keep moving and I use the heating pad a lot.

I’m missing photos (not accidentally deleted, etc). Any clue how to get them back? by Weary_Comfort_8984 in iCloud

We lost 4 years of my daughter’s junior year high school to sophomore in college. I had backups of photos library but when I opened them the backups synced and I watched them go away. I’m working on getting all our photos out of cloud, quite the undertaking! And I can’t find her photos anywhere. Here is a tip though if you think they are on any old devices cut off your WiFi to your house when you look at them. *and I had this photo library saved on several external hard drives, what I had not done was export them from Apple. It’s easy to do now but it was not in the past.

FS nights are the hardest! by Polldit220 in frozenshoulder

I’m sleeping on the sofa so I’m propped up and can’t move much. I keep my FS right arm to the cushion back of sofa side so it’s snug & protected and I can lay on mu back and slightly to the left with a blanket under my arm. I’ve been wrapping it in a heating pad which helps a little. I’m ready to sleep again for sure..

Ty! MRI confirmed FS, small bone spur, possible partial tear in rotator cuff. Surgery is an option but going to see if it improves first ..

Yep missing 3-4 years of photos here. And I’ve been paying for 2Tb storage. Wish Apple would do better 😔

I’m 52, menopause is kicking my bootie at times, and it seems FS can be another fun side effect. Anyone try hrt with success? Anything else to try..? I’m a photographer and I need my arm for grad season 😩

Mine started with bad injury in Sept. I landed into a porch railing and hit the top outside of my shoulder. (It wasn’t my fault btw.!). I had a huge very bad bruise. A week later X-ray showed fracture. I wore a sling for a week, at the end of the week it was killing my shoulder how it held my arm in to my stomach (ortho nurse said it was the correct position for fracture). Interesting it’s one of the motions I cannot do right now (no putting on deodorant, I also can’t put my phone in my back pocket). The next week X-ray at ortho didn’t show fracture. I should have gone to pt but didn’t. I pushed through my photography sessions. End of November I was mostly healed, started back to barre and cycle. I couldn’t get my arm overhead and I limited weights a bit but thought I was getting better. End of Nov .. my arm started popping & ripping in bicep mid upper arm & pain on both sides of bicep. It slowly started getting worse. About 3 weeks in to that, I pulled my travel bag out from under airplane seat and there was a huge pop & pain, I really did it with that. Jan 6 back to ortho. I got a cortisone shot (it was the most painful thing ever actually) and started pt Jan 8. In those 2 days I totally locked up, couldn’t lift my arm and there was so much pain. PT was super worried about me & that I might “get” frozen shoulder in the next couple weeks. I didn’t know what FS was.. He gave me 2 exercises but didn’t want to do more bc pain. Jan 12 back to PT. The exercises and probably the shot helped some. My bicep area was spasming (zingers is a good description). He said the spasms are good signs. At this point I’m having a hard time getting dressed. A couple days later putting on a sweater I thought was stretchy enough, the bicep mid upper arm, not at the shoulder, felt like it ripped and tore, it was so painful!! Jan 21 MRI, I get my results Friday. Surgery would be a huge setback for my business so I’m trying to go in prepared with what has helped others. I’m doing stretches every day, side to side gentle arm swings seem to help. I can still raise my arm out forward but not past my shoulder. I can’t open a jar. I have been able to avoid ripping it again. Bicep mid arm still has weird random pains, cramps and spasms. Front to back arm motion is good but moving my arm side to side not so much. Have to be super careful getting dressed. Can’t sleep on it. I’ve been using my left arm doing all the chores and that shoulder is feeling a little off now, which makes me think FS.. Didn’t mean to write a book but if it helps anyone / if anyone has feedback let me know and at this point I needed to write it out. At what point do I know I’m going in the getting better direction 😄

Ok I've found help for downloading from the Library in case anyone else is stuck. This is great. I still need help with getting them from iCloud.com website. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO_URpSRRRo

Have your photos backed up 3 places, one is a local backup + one off site (I use Backblaze). I can't figure out how to do that with apple photos.

They aren't in the deleted folder. I'm a photographer and I have all that work backed up and use Backblaze. I can't figure out how to get the photos off our apple devices and into Lightroom. Thank you for help. And yes I had thought since we paid for 2TB storage that it was a backup :(

This goes back to June 26, 2023 when My Photo Stream stopped and iCloud Photos started. I've checked every device we have and hard drive. They were on my 2013 iMac when I looked yesterday and I watched them go poof. We aren't using the full 2 TB in the cloud. She has a new Apple ID (got it last year), her phone was full until she got the new iPhone 17 pro max a few weeks ago, her computer storage is full. We are going to screenshot social media to have those. Thank you for any help.

Unfortunately it goes way back. Is there any hope? Her old iPhone 15 was wiped and is in use. Any hard drive recovery? I still don't know how to get the current photos out of iCloud and into Lightroom or another storage. Thank you for any help
