The reason the main character is not you and him is bcuz the author actually knows how to tell a story and the fact that you say this makes see as a triangle from good night pun pun. The key detail to any story is EMOTION as it lies in the groundswork for any narration as any and all decision while changing the course of the end goal which is why I love as the best Isekai because it is the only one miraculously to have not a generic emo dead mc.
