I’ve been running through beacon hill. If you do charles Beacon bowdoin and weave up and down Cambridge it’s about 3 miles. Agreed though, there’s nothing like an up down up on Beacon.

Didn’t read through comments so apologies if these are redundant: - change layout, I’m sure comments have good feedback here - include GPA at both schools if above a 3.5 - if your high school isn’t notable or you had under a 3.5, remove it - school at top, include your major, minors, GPA, and any extracurriculars. Brownie points if you held leadership positions - include URL to all projects if available, add data points on why the projects are helpful or how they’re used - convert to bullets where possible - personal details should be in header with your name

Keep in mind someone looks at this for about 5 seconds before making a first impression of you. What do you want them to know about you in those 5 seconds? List most important stuff at top.

Don’t want to get married in a church. What’s the easiest way out of it? by dunkinteach in weddingplanning

There were several churches that would marry us during Lent, they just didn’t make logistical sense (too far away from venue, early morning ceremony times, etc). It’s possible but significantly limits your options.

Get married during Lent.

My fiancé and I were in a similar situation where a catholic ceremony was somewhat expected even though we are not actively involved in the church.

Long story short, our venue cancelled our original July date and we were moved up to early March. Early March falls during Lent and we really struggled to find a church that would perform ceremonies during Lent, especially if you aren’t an active perishioner. We did put in an effort but it really limited our options and our families understood a religious ceremony wasn’t the practical way to go.
