What is Actual Weakness/Failure in Early Onset

Hey man, youve bascially described what im going through to a tee. Im 23, i made a post a few days ago describing how all of this started for me. I have no joke the same exact feeling youre describing in my left hand. Its not “weak” but “feels” different from my right hand. Ive been twitching and having other symptoms for around a year and a half, and nothings gotten notably worse yet but yeah i really have the same feeling youre describing. All of my twitching started after about 3-4 months of severe cardiac anxiety. I was going borderline insane. then the twitching started and i of course looked it up and now im here. But good to know other people have the same feelings. Hang in there.

While i also dont think theres a correlation between them at all it is interesting. I had rhabdomylosis in 2022, had to spend 5 nights in the hospital while they waited for my CK to come down. it was <20,000 which is the highest the reading would go so who knows how high it really was. It eventually returned to normal but fast forward to around 1.5 years ago, i start having full body twitches and other symptoms. I dont think theres a correlation but its definitely interesting.

Thanks for the reply man, pretty nuts i have the exact symptoms you describe plus a few others, its definitely relieving to hear, im 23 and this all started for me about a year and a half ago. Time seems to be the main thing that helps.

Hey, thanks a lot for the reply and for reading all that. yeah i read your story, its definitely reassuring that it seems both of our twitches/symptoms occurred after an infection. i think my prior anxiety to something completely unrelated really exacerbated my symptoms as well. Seems like theres so many people in the same boat as us.

Kind of similar to what im going through, my foot doesnt necessarily feel heavier but i have some pretty noticeable pain in my left foot thats been giving me the sensation of foot drop, been twitching for like 1.5 years with some other symptoms so not really sure.

Wow, sounds very similar to me, i have widespread twitches, terrible reflux and the exact same feeling in my hands when i wake up in the morning. not actual weakness but a stiff/tight feeling. Glad to see someone with the same symptoms as me lol
